CoffeeCup HTML Editor

The CoffeeCup HTML Editor is one of the classical "html editors with built in viewer". It is adequate both for complete newbies who have no idea of HTML and for experienced webmasters.

But, since this site is about free stuff, I want to tell you that it also has a FREE version, with wizards for tables, frames, forms, fonts, images and links. It also includes a built-in FTP capability. (Of course, the paid version has many more features).

The HTML editor is a "drag and drop" editor, that is, you can drag and drop the text and the images in the window and the software will "write" the HTML code. Basically, it has two editors, one is used for writing code, while the Visual Editor allows you to work without knowing any HTML at all (becase What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get ;-).

Other types of software that you can find for free on the CoffeeCup site are: a free ftp software, a free image viewer, a DHTML menu builder, a zipping (and un-zipping) utility.
