Ebay is a great place to find bargains, but do you really know how to buy on eBay?
Among the many treasures collected on my hard disk, I have also found this guide for the eBay buyers, so here I am, sharing it with you.
This short guide (16 pages) tells you what to do *before* you start buying on eBay.
It will warn you about the risks of buying on eBay (the risk is not the rule, but it still exists) and about the different types of scams.
It will also teach you how to look for items on eBay, giving you helpful advice about how to locate items (not all sellers post their items in the right category). You will also find out how to get better deals.
The last part of the guide contains a checklist with 27 ways to avoid eBay scams.
The last two pages are a short introduction to bid sniping, that is, bidding during the last seconds of an auction, so as to get a lower price (if I say it like that, it seems simple, but make sure to read about it).
