Think Outside The Box
Think Outside The Box is a free ebook by Paul Kleinmeulan on the topic of private label rights.
As you probably know, PLR mean you have the right to modify a certain product and then use it as your own.
Let's take a look at what you can do with a digital product:
- You can modify it (add or remove details, add graphics) and then sell it.
- You can give it away, to encourage people to sign up for your newsletter (of course, first you add your contact details in it ;-)
- You can sell resale rights to your product - that is, people who buy it can also sell it, but without modifying it.
- You can turn it into content for your own website or for an autoresponder course.
- You can divide the content into articles and publish them on article directories sites or submit them to other e-zines, together with your resource box.
- You can put the rights for your product or the product itself up for auction.
- You can provide the product as content for membership sites.
- You can create content for your blog.
- You can offer your product in joint-ventures giveaway, where people sign up for free content, but they have to provide their e-mail address in order to get access to the specific product - this will help you to build your list fast.
- You can come up with a new set of products from a single material source. For instance, you can turn an ebook into an audio ebook or, it it is about do-it-yourself, you can turn it into a video with how to step-by-step indications.
These are some of the traditional ways to use private label rights, but Paul Kleinmeulan, in his ebook "Think Outside The Box", provides new ideas for using PLR content and shows you how to add a twist to the usual ways. So why don't you just grab it and study it thoroughly? It will surely help you to come up with even more ideas.
(Pssss... Let me tell you a secret: I have only read half of "Think Outside The Box", because each time I start it I get a new idea, then I start reading it again from the beginning, and then I get more new ideas. I guess the next time I open the book I should just start reading from the middle, otherwise I'll never find out how it ends!)
