Vegetable Stock Recipe
(Easy Italian Brodo Recipe)
This is a very easy vegetable stock recipe, in our case, as we are dealing with Italian recipes, it is, in fact, a classic Italian brodo recipe.
Ingredients:
1 onion
1 carrot
1 celery stalk
coarse salt
Clean and grate the carrot, peel the onion, clean the celery stalk.
Wash the vegetables and put them into a pot with 6.5 cups (1.5 l) of water, in which you will add coarse salt. Boil them for about half an hour.
You can use this vegetable stock for soups, all kinds of risottos, as a liquid component in other preparations, when you need to smooth another dish, and also for a "diet" pastina.
